More Information

Rocky Mountain Clean Diesel Collaborative

The Rocky Mountain Clean Diesel Collaborative (RMCDC) is a partnership between EPA Region 8, Denver Regional Air Quality Council (RAQC), Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), and City and County of Denver.  The goal is to expand beyond government agencies into the private sector as well as future growth into all of Region 8.  To find more information on the RMCDC, please visit the following site: www.epa.gov/Region8/air/rmcdc.html

Current and Future Funding

Over the past several years the EPA has provided millions of dollars for retrofit and other diesel emission reduction projects. EPA will continue funding worthy projects through competitive grants in the coming years. By the fall of 2006 a request for applications (RFA) will be announced on this website. In addition the 2005 Energy Bill authorized funding for diesel projects, although congress has not appropriated funds to support those programs at this time. To find out how to apply for funding, please visit EPA Region 8's Grants and Funding Web site.
