Clean Diesel Conference: June 11-12, 2003

The Regional Air Quality Council, along with its co-sponsors, Colorado Motor Carriers Association and Northeast Metro Pollution Prevention Alliance hosted Denver’s Clean Diesel Conference, the first of its kind in the metro-Denver region, on Wednesday and Thursday, June 11 - 12, 2003. The conference was created as part of the Clean Air Fleets Outreach and Awareness Program, a public-private initiative to help educate and inform diesel fleet operators on efficient and cost-effective ways to keep their diesel fleet running clean. The conference was FREE and provided the latest information on advances in diesel engine technology, Colorado’s Diesel Inspection/Maintenance Program, retrofit equipment and funding opportunities, emission control technology, vehicle idling reduction strategies, alternative fuels, and best maintenance practices. If you were unable to attend the conference, but are interested in the topics discussed, feel free to download the presentations below.
